All the components seem very sturdy and built to last. The jack is really easy to use, even for someone like me with minimal mechanical experience. It's also very sturdy and lifts my car (a Mazda 3) up nice and high so I could easily change the tire. The ratchet and lug wrench are also well-made and easy to use.

The kit also comes with a nice carrying case, which makes it easy to store in my trunk. I'm very happy with this scissor jack kit. It's a great value for the price and it could really save you in a pinch. Just be sure to read the instructions carefully before using the scissor jack kit. It's always a good idea to practice changing a tire at home before you have to do it on the side of the road. This is nicely packaged set. Jack is reasonable quality for the cost of $70 at the time of my review. I do like the ratchet that comes with the jack for operating instead of cranking with a rod. The extendable bar with the 4 sockets that fit most common lugs makes this quite versatile. All packaged in a small duffle bag which is easily stored somewhere convenient in your gear. I do have a scissor jack that my truck came equipped with but when I have everything packed up on a road trip I try to avoid emptying my cab off all passengers, bags, blankets and pillows to retrieve it. This can stay at the back of the truck bed or stowed in an accessible spot in a trailer. I have a bottle jack that I carry as well but I found out the hard way that it doesn't fit under the axle of my boat trailer and had to get creative. The lower profile of a scissor jack would have been the better option. Out of the box this jack could use a little grease on the threads. There is light oil on the threads when shipped but I can feel that it would benefit from grease when operating it. Overall this is a handy well packaged set and I would recommend.
